There are three basic historical changes in Christianity surfacing in the past century in the USA that have become largely accepted as Biblical truth among those who consider themselves historically orthodox, Fundamentalist.  And these changes are purely the work of demons in these latter days.

If mankind can be brought to believe that salvation is by their own mental notation of only a one-time mental affirmation of a wholehearted belief (trust), they falsely call their faith, in Christ as their Savior only, then all hell and its demons are their destiny forever (Matt 7:21-23).  They are totally deceived by the satan, the god of this world.

These same Dispensational "grace" regardless or the Free Grace teachers always make a great furor over the concept of rewards given in Heaven.   This is the only way they have of referencing any works as meritorious, or any excuse for sinful living while still going to Heaven.  They say they are saved by grace alone, and their faith (trust) alone, and NOT by works of any kind.   But they have no understanding of grace, nor works, nor faith, nor believing, no repentance, nor what or why our Lord died on the cross for us, nor even what a sciptural Christian is, nor the purpose of the Holy Spirit within True Christians,  nor anything applying to salvation.  They teach that the only way to be led by the Holy Spirit is to read the Bible and to do what you think it says to you.  They are blinded Pharisees, going by the teachings (traditions) of men who. "shall in no case (not one) enter into the Kingdom of Heaven" (Matt 5:20). 

They say that they are all uncondtionally destined to heaven, after a one-time trust in a Savior only (not Lordship; therefore a cult by definition).   So, they say, there is no place whatsoever for works in salvation, unless, their self-conceived "good" works follow them for rewards to them after in Heaven.   So rewards for works is their great and only reason for any efforts at all, since all get into Heaven without any works or beliefs or morals or commitments at all; "without any concern for having to please God," they teach.  "Isn't it wonderful we don't have to be good," they teach.  

All you who base your sinful living, saying that you are saved by "grace alone" through your own trust (faith) in Jesus as your Savior, regardless of anything else, will not be alone in an Eternal hell.  About 98% of the religious world today will be there with you and all your pastors and teachers, who have filled this country with this false gospel for the past 90 years.

You are so wrong, it would be be very laughable if not so extremely serious, but your very false understandings are sending you and all who follow you to a fiery Eternal hell.  And this is very regrettable and grievously sad.  "We pray for you, we beg you, flee from the wrath to come!!"

Explanation:

1.  Our salvation and the salvation of ALL peoples (born-from-above or unbelievers worldwide) is judged upon the basis of any WORKS done by obedience to THE FOUNDATION LAID (1 COR 3:11-12). THE indwelling Mind of Jesus Christ our Creator IS FAITH, received after we repented and committed to His Lordship in our living in Restored Fellowship as Sons of God (Rom 8:14, 16), while still on earth.   He died on the cross to make it possible to become the FOUNDATION (Rock) of our RESTORATION (At-one-ment) and our living in obedience to His indwelling faith.   Plain and simple.    See concise and complete explanation under heading, "Our Final Eternal Judgment," in articles of Our Final Eternal Judgment of All Men and  Justification-Teachings Today.

2.  There are no rewards (plural) in NT Greek scripture.  All reward is singular only in Greek NT when referring to anything of the saints in Heaven or salvation or merit.  There is not "rewards" (plural word) in the entire Greek NT. Indeed, all the places of "rewards" in the OT is relating to the lost only.   There is no such thing in scripture relating to "rewards" (plural) in Heaven in scripture.

1 Cor 3:11-15 is used by the Calvinists and the Dispensational "grace" regardless as their reason to think they will go to Heaven, regardless of whether they are good are not, or please God or not. They say they can be born-from-above and have indwelling Christ in them by just once having placed their trust in Him as their Savior, having a guaranteed Heaven without any righteous obedience, they may just get no rewards after getting to Heaven.  And they comfort themselves with the thought that this scripture means they may just get no rewards after entering Heaven for eternity regardless of their behavior or beliefs.  Why have any care?  Heaven is guaranteed, as if you were there already, they say.   Isn't grace wonderful, they say. 

First, none of this section in first Corinthians mentions works (plural) or rewards (plural). 

Secondly, verse 11 at the start says, "For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ, NOW IF ANY MAN BUILD UPON THIS FOUNDATION..." This is why Jesus said, "Ye must be born-from-above" to have the foundation of "Christ in you, the expectation of Glory (Spiritual Perfection)," Col. 1:27.  He in you is the Foundation.

Our Creator came incarnate in human flesh to die on the cross to put our sinful flesh natures in the grave, so that He could Justly indwell His cleansed vessels with His Holy Spirit's Restoration (At-one-ment of us), thereby giving us the Holy Spirit Mind of Christ (faith) to direct us in our obedient living doing His Works.  The Book of Romans begins and ends with "obedience of faith," or faith's obedience, its subject throughout. (Rom 1:5 and 16:26).

1 Cor 3:6-9 says that God gives the increase to our labors, and verse 9, that "we are fellow workers of God (God's fellow workers), we are a building of God (God's building)."  As though we are fellows under the same yoke WITH CHRIST (Matt 11:29), now in us, and THE FATHER has the reigns (Jn 14:10).  Only "the work" done by the Father (Jn 14:10) through us, with us as yoke fellows with Christ in us (Jn 20:21, Matt 11:29), is counted.  But one must understand what repenting is, and believing is, and Christ's indwelling faith is, and what grace is, and what and why Christ died on the cross, to fully understand this. 

Catholics, Calvinists, and Dispensationalists don't know these basic things.  They have only learned the traditions (doctrines and definitions) of men (Matt 7:9; 7:13 and Col 2:8), deceived and deceiving (2 Tim 3:13), they are Pharisees, the blind leaders of the blind (Matt 15:12 and 14).

You will remain blinded by the satan of this world system, which teaches Catholicism, Calvinism, or Dispensationalism of eternal security, regardless of your disobedience to Christ.   You talk about yourselves only following what the Bible says.  This is Pharisaism, following the traditional interpretations of men, in which Christ says they will in NO CASE (not one) shall enter the Kingdom of Heaven (Matt 5:20; 23:33).  ONLY the Holy Spirit Mind of Christ (faith) in us can teach us and guide us as to what TRUTH is, that the Lord teaches in His written Word, IF we seek HIM with ALL our heart.  Penal Substitutional Atonement was invented in 1098 AD by a Catholic, Calvinism was invented in 1535, Dispensationalism was invented in England in 1830, but are you saying you are not following the traditions of men?    Are you so blind that you think that as time progresses forward through prophesied worsening history that men's understandings of the Truth of God will progressively improve?

If any man is born-from-above, he should be building upon the Foundation Christ... a man must labor according to that which cannot be burned (the Truth teachings, doctrines of Christ, Lord Jesus Christ Himself in us).....and it is God the Father that gives the increase.  So we may conclude that a man's labor according to Christ's doctrines is important.  But "God does not reward his servants according to the success of their labor, because that depends on Himself accomplishing them through us; but His reward for them is according to their faithful labour with Him which they bestow on His work" (Adam Clark), and His leading them by His reigns.

 "Built thereupon" means, led by the Holy Spirit of Christ in him, the Foundation already laid, Christ in you (Col 1:27).  "As many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the Sons of God" (Rom 8:14).

In other words, is a person born-from-above and desperately wanting to be obedient to the Holy Spirit of Lord Jesus Christ inside himself; being yoked to Jesus Christ indwelling him, praying and looking only and always to please his Father in Heaven?  Child Simple.  There is no other Foundation laid, but that is NOW laid by Christ.  A man receives reward of the inheritance, despite possibly no outward appearance of worldly success.  He has the Foundation, just perhaps like the thief on the cross, or a life long obedient and faithful missionary.  They each have done the first work expected of them, repenting and committing to their Lord Jesus Christ (Jn 6:28-29) at the beginning.  One then immediately died and the other faithfully overcame the world, his flesh, and the devi, through obedience to the Holy Spirit, through his death and into Eternity.

After being born-again with Life of the rule (Kingdom of God) of our Lord, beginning for the first time, we start Living to serve our Lord through His Holy Spirit Mind (faith) now in us, as though we were already in Heaven.  This then later becomes a simple Judgment of our Creator for all men, whether to Heaven by God's good work through our obedience to Him -- or--  hell through our denial of Him by going our own way, your own thinking and own trusting (Titus 1;16; 2 Tim 2:12; Luke 2:9-11).   A simple Eternal judgment of all mankind.  What are your works??  Is their any work remaining done through faith or are they all self directed works?   Are you among those that trust in themselves, like the Pharisee (Luke 18:9-14), thinking your trust and your believing is faith?    

Could it be that someone is worthy of Heaven as his reward (singular). if he:
(1) based his efforts according to the Truth (Word) teachings of Christ as taught by His Holy Spirit in us, and
(2) being obedient through the Mind of Christ in himself to His Heavenly Father's guidance,

(a)  But he may terribly backslide into sinning losing all possibility of reward of Heaven [[see Ezek 3:18-21; Heb 10; 2 Pet 2; John 3:36 ("being continuously disobedient," not "believing not"), and multitudes of scriptures]] but deeply repents and recommits to Christ's Lordship and immediatly dies.  Could he be "saved, yet so as by fire" ?  Or,
(b)  If one is born-from-above starting on the proper Foundation, and died before he could have any other work in obedience to Christ, like the thief on the cross alongside Jesus, "saved, yet so as by fire."  Did not he do the first work required of God, to commit (Jn 6:29)?   Or,
(c)  After once repenting and committing to the Lordship of Jesus (born-again), he may start believing Dispensational teachers, and believing he can never lose his salvation and that only his trust in Jesus as his Savior only is all that is required; so he lives in continual sinning and just trusting in Jesus to save him the rest of his sinful existence, perhaps, even playing church or even become a preacher of Dispensationalism thereafter.  He has by his life's works (Titus 1:16) denied the LORD Jesus Christ by his false teachings sending possibly thousands to hell.  Could he rightfully obtain Heaven by a righteous Holy God?

1 Cor 3:13 says, "Everyman's WORKS of what sort it is," "shall be made manifest....it shall be revealed by fire....."  And verse 15 says, "If any man's (referring to those upon the Foundation of Christ) work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss; but he himself shall be saved, yet so as through (dia) fire."  So FIRST, verse 3:11 says, IF any man has a life BUILT upon the Foundation of Christ (born-from-above AND Living through obedience of faith (NOT DENIED his Lord by his works), having a righteous standing before God either as a backslider newly repentant and recommitted, or just a new-born who soon dies; nevertheless, he has done the (first) work expected (Jn 6:28-29), committing his new Life in obedience to His Lord. 

"For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ.
Now if any man build upon this foundation gold, silver, precious stones, wood, hay, stubble;
Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
If any man's work abide (not deny by false doctrines or backslide from obedience to his Lord) which he hath built thereupon, he shall receive reward.
If any man's work shall be burned, he shall suffer loss: but he himself shall be saved; yet so as by fire." (1 Cor 3:11-15).    

He was truly born again, and in his end on earth, obtained Heaven through his Holiness of Spirit and faith of Truth.......built upon this foundation laid by Christ (2 Thess 2:13-17).  

ONLY by obedient-fruit existing from Christ in us as our Lord, will we be accepted in Heaven.

I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that is continuously abiding in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing.....
Ye have not chosen Me, but I have chosen you, and appointed you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain.... (John 15:5,16)

Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit. 
Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them (Matt 7:17,19-20).

Who will render to every man according to his deeds:
To them who by patient continuance in well doing seek for glory and honour and immortality, eternal life:
But unto them that are contentious, and do not obey the truth, but obey unrighteousness, indignation and wrath,
Tribulation and anguish, upon every soul of man that doeth evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Gentile;
But glory, honour, and peace, to every man that worketh good, to the Jew first, and also to the Gentile:
For there is no respect of persons with God (Rom 2:6-11)."

And, behold, I come quickly; and My reward (singular) is with Me, to give every man according as his work (of what sort it is, 1 Cor 3:13) shall be" (Rev 22:12).  Is your work of the type directed by obedience to the Holy Spirit leading in you -0r- are you're works based upon your thinking, your trusting only?   This is the Final Judgment God's-Good works vs. self conceived dead works, for Eternal Heaven or hell for everyone in the world, saved or unsaved. For God is no respecter of persons, (Rom 2:11).

[[  Fundamentalism is simply the holding to the fundamentals (teachings, doctines) of what makes something what it is.  In Christianity, Historic Fundamentalism is simply holding to those Biblical teachings of Christ and His Apostles that makes true Christianity what it is.   Anything else is not Christianity!!  ]]

Evangelical propagandists, today, by their dedication to "loving" compromise in all things, are deceitfully and forcibly redefining any and all dissenting religious groups as Fundamentalists, lumping them all together as "radically antisocial, anti-liberty, anti-intellectual, anti-loving, and equivalent to modern terrorists."  This is a manifest blasphemous lie against Historic Apostolic Doctrines of Christ.   

We are NOW in "the latter days".   We (Christians, conservatives, fundamentalists) are routinely called fascists, bigots, the Taliban, and veiled threats of violence are not uncommon.  Christians WAKE  UP ! 

"Take heed unto thyself, and unto the DOCTRINE; continue in them: for in doing this thou shalt both save thyself, and them that hear thee" (1 Tim 4:16).

"My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee" (Hosea 4:6).

"A people who do not understand will fall" (Hosea 4:14).
 
"For I desire mercy and not sacrifice, and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings" (Hosea 6:6).

 "Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams" (1 Sam 15:22).
  
"Woe unto you, when all men shall speak well of you for so did their fathers to the false prophets" (Luke 6:26).

"Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather DIVISION" (Luke 12:51).
